Sears and Kmart are introducing a unique online/in-store collaboration to allow pick up of sears.com or kmart.com orders at any of each other’s U.S. stores, which includes more than 2,000 locations. They also promise to have the order ready in five minutes or less. Sears and Kmart customers are increasingly taking advantage of integrated shopping experiences with 60 per cent of online sales as multi-channel transactions as well as a 26 per cent increase in online and multi-channel sales in the last quarter.
