Coral Reef has been selected as the colour of the year for 2015 by Sherwin-Williams. The company says the colour is an uplifting, vivacious hue with floral notes and a mélange of pink, orange, and red that can be used to liven up any space and perfectly suited to celebrate a mid-decade year that’s poised for revitalization. The colour is pulled from Sherwin-Williams’ ‘Buoyant’ palette and complemented by other colours that are reminiscent of vintage floral patterns, influenced by natural-healing botanicals and the trend for green urban spaces. Other colours that stand out for the new year include other floral hues, lush greens, warm neutrals, and buttery yellows.
